Who We Are
Bannockburn Neighbors is an independent, resident-led community initiative dedicated to keeping our community informed, connected, and engaged in decisions that shape its future.
We believe Bannockburn is a special place worth protecting and improving. Our goal is to bring neighbors together, make important local issues easier to understand, encourage meaningful participation, and advocate for thoughtful, transparent, and accountable decision-making.
We’re not opposed to change. We believe the best outcomes come when residents have access to reliable information, opportunities to be heard, and a meaningful role in shaping their community.
Our Current Focus: The Trinity Campus
Our first major initiative is the proposed redevelopment of the former Trinity International University campus.
We support the potential benefits of youth sports, recreation, and thoughtful redevelopment. But we believe a project of this scale deserves careful scrutiny, meaningful community input, and clear commitments that protect Bannockburn’s character and long-term interests.
We support the mission. We question the plan.
We’re working to help residents understand the proposal, identify unanswered questions, and participate in the Village’s review process.

Bannockburn Neighbors is an independent initiative of local residents. We are not affiliated with the Village of Bannockburn, the Donato Foundation, or the project’s developers.
We welcome different perspectives and do not claim to speak for every resident. Our purpose is to encourage informed discussion, constructive engagement, and a stronger voice for our community.
